20th & 27th February, 2001 - John Paschoud's presentation: "2 million users? 2 million libraries!", given at the jointly held eLib hybrid library projects' workshop: "The Future is Hybrid: libraries in the 21st century" at Manchester Metropolitan University and at Edinburgh University. Anne Gambles demonstrated the LSE PIE during the afternoon.
At the Manchster event, Colin Harris (JISC representative on the HeadLine Steering Committee) gave the introduction, and Maureen Wade made the keynote presentation overviewing the Hybrid Libraries Programme. 1st November, 2000 - John Paschoud's presentation: "2 million users? 2 million libraries!", given at the jointly held eLib hybrid library projects' workshop: "The Future is Hybrid: libraries in the 21st century" at the British Library. Anne Gambles demonstrated the 1.2 beta-test version of the (LSE) PIE during the afternoon.

31st October, 2000 - John Paschoud gave a HeadLine presentation to Library staff at the University of Kent at Canterbury. John also demonstrated the 1.2 betatest version of the (LSE) PIE.

12th September 2000 - John Paschoud gave a talk to LSE Library staff on the eLib projects based at the LSE Library - HeadLine, Decomate, M25 Link.

30th June 2000 - John Paschoud gave a presentation on Decomate II under the heading: "Authentication and authorisation issues". This was at a Cultural Heritage Projects Concertation Event in Vienna which included a workshop on authentication.

30th June 2000 - Anne Gambles' presentation: "HeadLine and the Personal Information Environment", given to visitors from Aberystwyth's international Graduate Summer School.

22nd and 23rd May 2000 - Anne Gambles' presentation to LSE Library staff - "The HeadLine PIE".

17th April 2000 - John Paschoud's presentation: "Linking the hybrid library into MIS & Information strategies" at the SCURL eLib seminar.

17th April 2000 - Anne Gambles' presentation on eLib and the HeadLine Project to the CAUL group of Australian Librarians at the LSE Library.

13th April 2000 - Anne Gambles' presentation on eLib and the HeadLine Project at the British Business Schools Librarians Group Conference, hosted by Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen.

12th April 2000 - Anne Gambles' presentation on eLib and the HeadLine Project at the Robert Gordon University's School of Information and Media.

7th April 2000 - Anne Gambles' presentation on the HeadLine Project: "Developing the Hybrid Library" at the Kings Norton Library, Cranfield University.

5th April 2000 - Maureen Wade's presentation "Hybrid Libraries & the HeadLine Project", at the Library Association's workshop: "library.com - we're delivering service!".

22nd March 2000 - John Paschoud's joint workshop at LibTech with Karen Neal of South Bank University: "Personal Information Environments and Push Technology".

16th March 2000 - Anne Gambles' presentation on eLib and the HeadLine Project at the University of Strathclyde Library School. .

9th March 2000 - Open University Library Research Seminar: Anne Gambles' presentation "HeadLine: Developing the hybrid library".

8th March 2000 - John Paschoud's presentation at the Irish Universities Information Services Colloquium 2000, Ballyconnell, Co. Cavan, Eire.

7th March 2000 - Anne Gambles' presentation at the eLib Concertation Day: "Collection Level Description".

10th November 1999 - ASLIB Computer Group Event: 'Hybrid Libraries 2'. Simon McLeish gave a talk 'Hybrid Libraries and Portals: the Headline Personal Information Environment' - LSE.

10 -14 September 1999 - Libraries without Walls Conference, Lesbos, Greece. Slides from the talk 'Helping the librarian to help the user: the HeadLine personal information environment' by Helen Edwards, Head of Library - London Business School.


6th July 1999 - Joint Projects presentation - updated for 1999. Decomate, M25 Link and HeadLine slides and demos for talk to BLPES Senior Management Group (6th July) and library staff (14th July).

30th March 1999 - John Paschoud's paper in the eLib session at Internet Librarian International '99, "All Users are not Created Equal! - How to decide Who Gets What from your Hybrid Library"; also as original MS-Powerpoint file, and as MS-Word document.
