I was the
Project Officer for the project until October 1999, my main duties included:
Evaluation - finding user requirements and getting users to test the
system.
Dissemination - communicating output from the project, and other
general publicity.
Resource analysis - identifying suitable resources to include on
the system and their technical requirements, licence agreements etc.
Previous
Experience/Expertise
Previous to this post, I worked as an
Information Specialist in a hospitality and leisure consultancy. I helped
develop the information and research service which provided business and sector
information to consultants and clients.
Interests/Professional
Activities
I have a Masters in information science and an
English degree. I enjoy walking, dancing and swimming, cooking, drinking and
shopping. I like all sorts of literature, especially AS Byatt and Anthony
Trollope. I also like films and music, particularly from the 60s; one of my
favourite shows is Randall and Hopkirk
(deceased).
