I was
involved in the research, development and implementation of a variety of the
Headline workpackages. These included areas such as the user profile, user
interface design, resource description etc.
Job at the LBS
I deal
with the Electronic Resources (networked CD-ROMs, On-line databases, and web
based services) that the LBS Library offers to all its users. This involves
supporting the products as well as installing and managing them.
Previous
Experience/Expertise
After finishing my first degree at Bradford
University (Peace Studies), I worked in the Information Service in the Research
& Development site for a well known paper company for 14 months. I then
went to Aberystwyth and did a one year Information and Library Studies Masters
course after which I joined the London Business School.
Interests/Professional
Activities
I am a big
Doctor Who fan, and of SF in
general. When I'm not watching or reading Doctor Who, I'm usually chilling out
to some vibes by the Sp* bands, or dancing
around to some Happy Hardcore.
